Sample · before & after

Real properties. Real edits.

A mix of interior, exterior, backyard, and floor-plan work from listings we've actually run through the pipeline. Restrained, professional editing — no virtual staging, no AI glow. Just the small distractions, exposure issues, slight recrops, and color casts that make a decent unit photograph like a tired one.

01Master bedroom
Before
Master bedroom before editing — warmer color cast, coat rack and side table on the right wall, dim balcony exposure.
After
Master bedroom after editing — neutral color, coat rack and clutter removed, balcony greenery legible through the windows.

Edits: Removed personal belongings. Neutralized warm color cast. Recovered window exposure. Lifted contrast and opened shadows.

02Front exterior — craftsman bungalow
Before
Green craftsman bungalow before editing — two trash cans on the walkway distract from the porch and front of the house.
After
Same bungalow after editing — trash cans removed, porch and address numbers read first.

Edits: Cleared foreground clutter from the walkway. Color and exposure preserved — the source was strong, this was primarily a tidy pass.

03Living room with fireplace + patio
Before
Open-plan living room before editing — warm-yellow color cast, bean bag in front of the fireplace, framed art on the left wall, blown-out patio view.
After
Same living room after editing — neutral whites, bean bag and art removed, patio + umbrella + dining set legible through the sliding doors.

Edits: Cleared loose items and personal art. Neutralized color so the finishes read true. Recovered patio exposure through the sliding doors. Softened overhead light hotspots.

04Floor plan — 2nd-story 2BR apartment
Source plan
Architect's grayscale floor plan with measurements and 'NO SCALE' note.
Polished
Polished version — light wood floors in living areas, blue hex tile in the bathroom, all labels and dimensions preserved.
Furnished concept
Furnished concept — queen bed in each bedroom, dining table and bar stools in the living/dining/kitchen combo, plants in the storage and bath corners.

Edits: Polished version adds floor materials while preserving every label, dimension, and the 'NO SCALE' note. Furnished concept places beds, dining, and storage so prospective tenants can read how the unit lives.

05Kitchen (white cabinets + hardwood)
Before
Galley kitchen before editing — warm-yellow ceiling cast, blown-out window frames, slightly orange floor tone.
After
Same kitchen after editing — true white ceiling and cabinets, window detail legible, wood floor grain clean.

Edits: Neutralized warm cast — ceiling and cabinets read true white. Recovered window exposure. Color-balanced the floor without losing warmth.

06Attic bedroom (vaulted ceiling + skylight)
Before
Attic bedroom before editing — cool grey walls reading slightly washed-out, skylight bright but flat, dormer window underexposed against the bright sky, beige carpet flat through the room.
After
Same attic bedroom after editing — walls warmed to a true neutral grey, skylight and dormer window balanced, carpet contrast restored, room reads habitable rather than empty.

Edits: Walls warmed off cool/washed-out to a true neutral grey. Skylight and dormer window exposures balanced. Carpet contrast lifted so the room reads inhabited, not staged-empty.

07Backyard
Before
Backyard before editing — wooden Adirondack chair in the foreground, hose across the grass, patchy lawn with harsh midday shadows.
After
Same backyard after editing — chair and hose removed, lawn uniformly green, softer sky, fences and neighboring buildings preserved.

Edits: Removed foreground furniture and yard tools. Slight recrop for even framing. Lifted lawn and foliage saturation. Pulled sky to a cleaner blue.

08Bathroom (brass + wood vanity + green tile)
Before
Bathroom before editing — toiletries and soap bottles cluttering the wood vanity counter, mirror reflection busy and distracting, white backsplash detail nearly washing out.
After
Same bathroom after editing — counter cleared of toiletries, mirror reflection calmed to a soft hint, white backsplash holding detail, brass fixtures and green tile floor preserved.

Edits: Cleared counter clutter (toiletries, soap bottles). Calmed the mirror reflection to a soft, non-distracting hint. Pulled back highlights so the backsplash detail held. Brightened overall with restraint — brass, wood vanity, and tile preserved as-is.

09Building exterior — blue MCM apartment
Before
Three-story blue mid-century apartment building before editing — flat overcast sky, 'AVAILABLE FOR RENT' sign and fire hydrant in the foreground.
After
Same building after editing — natural blue sky with cloud cover, foreground sign and hydrant removed, wider composition showing landscaping.

Edits: Lifted sky and saturation. Removed foreground signage and street furniture. Slight recrop so the property frames cleanly. Landscaping reads true.

10Floor plan — upper floor SFR
Source plan
Architect's grayscale upper-floor plan from Vsbeen Architects with foot-and-inch dimensions throughout.
Polished
Polished version — light wood floors throughout, blue hex tile in both bathrooms.
Furnished concept
Furnished concept — master with queen bed and plants, two bedrooms each furnished, loft with armchairs, den with desk + chair, balcony seating.

Edits: Polished version adds floor materials and tile bathroom finishes. Furnished concept places beds, a desk, loft seating, and balcony chairs so the layout reads as a lived-in home, not an empty grid.
